OHA Staff Takes on the Citizens Police Academy

Shoutout to Jessica Ford, Kimberley Allen, and Artrina Thomas who are a few weeks into the City of Opelika, Al - City Government Citizens Police Academy. This eight week experience is giving them an up close look at what it really takes to wear the badge, from the behind the scenes work to the high energy action. It is not your average class. Think hands on activities, eye opening demonstrations, and plenty of real talk from the Opelika Police Department team. This is an awesome opportunity not just for professional growth but also for building stronger connections between our agency and the community we serve. We are excited to follow their journey and cheer them on through graduation.
