A Message from the Executive Director

For over 70 years, the Housing Authority of the City of Opelika, Alabama "OHA" has worked to achieve its mission of creating affordable housing, viable neighborhoods, and opportunities for self-sufficiency that enhances the quality of life for the citizens of Opelika, Alabama.  We shall continue to do all these things while serving our residents and neighboring citizens with the highest degree of professional courtesy, empathy, and respect.

As the Housing Authority's Executive Director, I am pleased to have a leadership role in continuing our important mission.  The OHA's success is attributed to the work done by our dedicated staff, the leadership of our Commissioners and the effective partnerships we enjoy throughout the community.  We work closely with the City of Opelika, Alabama, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, Alabama Housing Finance, non-profits, contractors, developers, bankers, and the community to meet our goals and further our mission.

We will continue to build on our successes as we face new challenges through teamwork, dedication and commitment.
