Offices Closed- 1/22/25

As you may be aware, Governor Ivey recently declared a State of Emergency for 39 counties in Alabama, including Lee & Elmore counties, because of the severe winter weather today.  Given the amount of snowfall today and the cold weather projected for tomorrow, the roads and highways will still have icy and hazardous conditions.

Due to the forecasted inclement (very cold) weather tomorrow and potential safety hazards, specifically in Opelika & Tallassee, ALL OFFICES AND FACILITIES will be closed tomorrow (Wednesday, January 22, 2025).
